Please feel free to reach us at pacctherapyservices@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Can I pay cash rate?
Yes, we have cash rates for clients who are non-insured, or have out of network insurances. Out of courtesy, we can send you a superbill to submit to your insurance and they will send a reimbursement check to you. Please check with your Insurance Company.
What are the Different types of Therapists?
We have different Therapist here. Know who you are seeing. Trainee means a therapist who is in school finishing their master's program. Fees are less, however they have often in session and out of session supervision and experience. Licensed AMFT are Master level Therapists who have completed their degree and have a BBS number but must complete 3000 supervised hours to obtain full licensure and cost less than fully licensed clinicians. They are supervised until then. Fully licensed Therapist are LMFT clinicians and have higher prices and more experience. Supervisors are licensed clinicians who are certified to supervise all therapist. Kimber Serna is a CAMFT Supervisor and can Supervise Licensed and unlicensed clinicians. There are also Associate Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Social Workers following same as above.
How do I know what my insurance will cover?
You should check with your insurance and see if you are in network. Keep in mind we can still bill out of network insurances and provide a superbill so your insurance can send reimbursement checks to you. We can also do shorter sessions or offer you cash pay packages to make therapy affordable. Some insurance companies do not cover more than 6 or 12 sessions, or couples therapy. Some insurances also have third party payers we might not be in network with despite us being contracted with your insurance company. We recommend you call your insurance company and ask specifically about your behavioral health benefits.
